Future Options

Within single seater cars Formula Renault is a very prestigious series. Formula Renault has a British and European series; it is a support race to several international races including British Touring cars.

GT and Touring cars are a very exciting option if David prefers to race ‘tin tops’.  The main series in Britain is the BTCC Touring Car Championship, where several former kart drivers have established themselves over the last few years including Tom Chilton. These drivers have graduated throughkarting and junior car racing to full time drives at a very yound age. Another excellent feeder championship to the BTCC is the Renault Clio Cup. This is televised and very popular for young drivers.
